Gerald S. Whitehorn, CPA, joined Frendel Brown & Weissman in 1979, after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College. He became a partner in 1988.
Mr. Whitehorn has particular expertise in the areas of textile and apparel manufacturing, wholesale distribution, travel services, manufacturing, service companies, divorce accounting, estates, trusts, mergers and acquisitions, individual and corporate taxation.
Mr. Whitehorn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA's) and a former member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Apparel Manufacturing and Textile Accounting Committee. He has also served as chairman of the NYSSCPA's Committee for Cooperation with Bankers and Other Credit Grantors. He supervises the firm's audit and accounting practice and staff training program.
